Recently having problems with playing back main movies for some movies. Previews play and menus work but when select play main movie on menu the screen goes dark for a few seconds and then returns to menu page.

I have networked iso files that playback fine on my PC but will not play on the popbox. Two movies that have the issue are "Cars 2" and "Real Steal".
Anyone else having the "main movie" playback problem?

Any suggestions on how to get these problematic movies to play?

Whenever i configure a share with a hostname, instead of its raw ip, my popbox v8 keeps throwing me the same set of subfolders whenever i select one.

procedure:
- configure a share on a remote NAS, use its hostname instead of its IP address.
- go back to the main menu and open the network browser app.
- select your newly made share (in my case 'mybooklive').
the popbox then jumps to the select folder on my NAS, which is good.
- Select any given folder and press 'ok' on the remote. verify the popbox then jumps back to the same folder you were just viewing.
- You can see in the top bar, that the popbox in fact thinks it's in a subfolder. in my case it showed 'mybooklive\shared videos\shared videos'. if you repeat the steps, you will only end up in the same subfolder, and only make the location string longer (e.g. 'mybooklive\shared videos\shared videos\shared videos\shared videos...').
- now go back to the share configuration trough the config screen, and change the hostname to the correct ip address.
- repeat the same steps and validate subfolder browsing is now possible.

Just bought a Popbox V8 and are really happy with the setup. My only concern for the moment is that I am not able to delete network media that are listed directly under "network media". I select one of them and push right for the menu on the right to pop, but all the choices are grayed out.

I can select them, but not delete them. This is really annoying since I am in a testing phase and don`t want to "plan for the future", just add stuff and test the functionality of the box.

So, does anyone know if it`s possible to delete these network media that you have added? If not, is it a bug that is known to the developers?

Three features I really would like to see in the new firmware upgrade.
Not too much impact, all info is already available.
1) Being able to press next on the metadata to see the metadata of the next movie in the same folder. Then we don't need to go back to the list to click on another movie to read metadata. So we can watch movie metadata easily one after the other.
2) Being able to add metadata on a folder/the folder name. This would be very handy for series. You don't need to go in the folder to read about the serie.
3) When Episode 1 (or x) of a series is playing, being able to press next to go to the next episode in the same folder. Now, you always need to go back to the list of video's in the folder. Would be nice to be able to watch the complete season with having to press a button. So immediately play the next file in the folder. I've had multiple players were this is one of the basic features (of course without the other amazing and powerfull popbox features...)
